We want to
avoid some food items to secure our health. We need some fat in our food. But
it is important to take the amount and type of fat that we are consuming. There
are two main types of fat are divided into saturated and unsaturated fats. Eating
too much of saturated fat will increase the amount of cholesterol in our blood
and thud heart disease will be caused due to unwanted fats.

Fat are
also essential nutrients, but more fat content in our blood leads to disease. Saturated
fat is found in many foods, such as hard cheese, biscuits, cakes, sausages,
butter, cream, lard and pies. We must avoid saturated fat intake, and select foods that have
unsaturated fats in its place. Foods like vegetable oils, oily fish and
avocados can be consumed.
To get
healthy body we have to choose healthier foods and avoid foods rich in fats. We
use only a small amount of vegetable oil and reduced-fat spread instead of
butter and ghee. We can consume meat but only small piece of meat must be
chosen to eat. Most of the people eat healthier foods to keep them fit. Sugary
foods and drinks, like alcoholic drinks possess high energy and if eaten much
may subsidize to weight increase.
Avoid too much eating of sugar in
your daily foods
In our
daily consuming food we have to avoid sugary foods like drinks, fermented
drinks, syrupy breakfast, cereals, cakes, cheese biscuit and pasties
because they may have added sugars. We should cut down sugar and we must consume
foods like fruit, vegetables and milk in our daily diet. Thus we can choose
the food and start to eat healthier.
Avoid too much of salty foods and how to choose right foods
Salt is
essential to our health because it contain iodine, but consuming more salt is
dangerous to our health. Even if you don’t add salt to your food, you may still be eating too much. In our breakfast
cornflakes, soups, lunch and dinner contains little amount of salt. Eating much
of salt content through food will increase your blood compression.
People
with high blood pressure are more likely to develop heart disease. Food labels
in food will help you to choose the right kind of food. More than 1.5g of salt
per 100g means the food is high in salt. Adults and children over 11 should eat
no more than 6g of salt a day. Small children need less than 5g of salt in a
day for maintaining healthy body.
